Employment Support Specialist Part-Time: Milwaukee
Job Profile
This is a part-time direct service position. The person in this position is responsible for a caseload of adult correctional clients at Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center.
Involvement with clients is on an individual basis and in group settings. Responsibilities may include provision of employment support services with clients, including work site visits, transportation to and from employment related activities as defined by the institution, facilitation of employment and life skills training on both a group and individual level, assist clients in obtaining and completing employment application materials, and other related activities. This individual works as part of the work release term within the institution.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Six months experience working with offenders in a residential or treatment
center required.
• Associates Degree in related field, Bachelors preferred
• Ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
• Must have valid Driver's License (for minimum of five years) and a good
driving record.
• Previous experience in the area of life skills and/or employment/vocational
training preferred.

Understanding of quality and security standards.
Good verbal and written communication skills, in spanish and english.
